Dental Library Construction Project

and as the construction progresses.
June 23, 2026: The Dental Library will reopen on Monday, July 5, 2026. However, the Library will
close again for at least one year starting on August 16, 2026, as the Dental Library
and Dental Bookstore areas on the third floor of the Administration Building are renovated.
Dental Library staff will work at the Downtown Campus Library throughout this extended
closure.
May 1, 2026: Beginning May 17, 2026, the Dental Library will be closed while demolition of the auditoriums on the 4th Floor of the Administration Building occurs. Dental Library staff will work at the Downtown Campus Library during the closure, which is anticipated to last through at least the end of June 2026.
The Dental Library will be affected by different phases of the renovations at the Dental School. The largest impact will be when the Dental Library will be closed for at least a year while the entire area on the 3rd Floor of the Administration Building is remodeled. The footprint of the Dental Library will be reduced, with the print collection housed on compact shelving that will only be accessible by Library staff once the Dental Library reopens.
